It's Finally Warming Up, and the Kids Are Finally Feeling Better!

Here are just a few random pictures from the past couple of weeks! It seems like we've been pretty busy. The kids have been sick with various things, but they are finally starting to feel better! We've seen our fair share of the doctor's office lately! It's finally getting nice out, so we're all excited about that! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
I gave Maddox an apple the other day, and he thought it was the greatest thing! He walked all over with it just eating away. He kept going to the rug to eat for some reason. It was so cute!

Kelsey is always asking if we can go see Lucky (our dog at the farm), so we finally took her out there. She LOVES Lucky!

Landon has been having to take medicine because he has been sick, and as you can tell, he hates it! The poor guys has to take 4 tsp. 2 x day!! That's a ton!! The first time I had to give it to him I had to sit on him to get him to take it!! Lucky for me, he has gotten better about it! Thankfully, today is his last day. He hasn't really been the same, sweet Landon since he has started it, so I'm glad we're almost done!

He takes a little bit, then takes a drink of milk. It takes about 10 minutes, but I'm ok with that! He has actually gotten even better and can take it much quicker now!

Easter Festivities!

We had a pretty busy Easter Sunday, but it was a great one! We woke up (early!) and the kids got their Easter baskets and had a little Easter egg hunt. Then we got ready and went to church. Kelsey had her Easter program there, and it was fun watching her and the other kids. After church (and a much needed nap for Maddox) we went to Nanny and Papa's house (Lance's parents) where we had dinner, another Easter egg hunt, and a relaxing evening with family. It was a wonderful day!

I forgot to put in my last post that Kelsey and Landon were able to enjoy another ride in the plane with Papa! They really love to go flying with him!

Lately at Our House.......

I feel like we've been so busy lately, but nothing has really happened. Here are a few random pictures from the past week!

We babysat for Lynn and Jennifer Johns' baby Hayden. He is 3 months younger than Maddox. He is SO GOOD!! He sat here and played for the longest time. We all enjoyed having him with us!
I can hardly do dishes anymore because a certain someone wants to "help".

Kelsey, Linsey, and Landon playing in all the snow we got the other day! They insisted they needed to go play in the snow before it melted! They were SOAKED when they came in the house!

The First of Many Yet to Come.........

So, our little guy is doing SO good with walking! At this point, he usually walks half the time and crawls half the time. He is starting to stand up in the middle of the floor by himself, and it is so cute! As a mother of 2 other children, I know that this is an exciting time, but I also know that this is when the bumps and bruises come! Tonight, Maddox got his first "black eye". He was walking in the sunroom and fell. No one is sure what he hit - maybe the coffee table, maybe a toy car. Who knows!

This is the only picture that I was able to get. He wasn't really in a picture-taking mood. I don't know if you can even see it, but I promise it's there. I took him in the kitchen and tried to put ice on it, but he was more interested in putting the ice in his mouth! He's a pretty tough little guy! It swelled up and bruised right away! I'm sure this is only the first of many more!!

It's Been a Great Week!

This past week was a pretty fun week! The weather was awesome, so we were outside a lot. I had a 'girl's night' with some friends. It was so much fun. Adrienne, Kara, and I went over to Ade's mom's house. I took the kids for a while so they could swim, and they had so much fun. They are still talking about it! Lance was awesome - he came and picked them up so we girls could enjoy a night to ourselves! It was a great night! The next day Tyler and Lacie came over for dinner (although I didn't really get any pictures!). We roasted brats and sausages over a fire. It was fun! So, here are a few pictures of the kids swimming.
