Better Late Than Never, Right? Happy Late Birthday, Lance!!!

The kids couldn't wait for "Lance" to open his presents!

See what I mean?? :-)
Making Daddy's "birthday cake"

The kids actually made gingerbread cookies and decorated them instead of a cake since we still had over half of Kelsey's cake left! They had so much fun doing it. Isn't it such a lovely cake? Happy late birthday, Lance! Hope you had a great day! Love you!

Happy 5th Birthday Kelsey!!

Kelsey sitting by her presents and holding her early birthday present.

Kelsey's preschool class had a birthday party for her. They called her "Birthday Girl" all day.
Here is the birthday banner her classmates made for her.
Kelsey opening presents from Nanny.
We gave Kelsey the option of anything she wanted for dinner. We told her we could go out to eat or stay home to eat. She chose to stay home and have steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was delicious!

Kelsey and Landon with her birthday cake.

They decorated it all by themselves!

Kelsey playing the Leapster that Nanny and Papa got her. She played it all night!
We also went to my mom and dad's house on Saturday evening to celebrate her birthday. I had taken some pictures of the night and realized that I didn't have my memory card in my camara. So, I don't have any pictures! It was a good night, though!
Kelsey would like to say thank you everyone for a great birthday!

Kelsey's Preschool Program

Kelsey had her preschool program last night. She was so cute!! The pictures we got were not very good. Our camara was not working very well with the lighting. She had a lot of fun! Here are Kelsey and Camille.

Gymnastics Program

Kelsey had her gymnastics program yesterday afternoon. She has been so excited for it! We have practiced at home for about 4 days! Some of the pictures are pretty blurry, but they were the best I could get from up in the balcony. Here she - all ready to go!

Here is everyone stretching out and getting ready for the program. Kelsey is in the front row, 3rd one from the right.

Group photo at the end. Like I said, it's a little blurry, but it's the best I could get!

Kelsey did so good, and she had such a great time! When I asked her what her favorite part of the program was, she said it was watching the big girls - go figure!! Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, Nanny, Papa, and Kayla for going with us to watch Kelsey! She was really excited to have you all there!

Update....

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted anything. Our computer was down for about 2 weeks, so that was the main problem. Since we've gotten it back, I have had no desire to get online and update my blog. Once I was out of the groove of updating, it was hard to want to do it again. But, I did! Here are a few things that have been going on at our house the past few weeks!

Getting the Perfect Tree

Like every year, we went to the tree farm to cut our tree down this year. We felt like it was too cold for Maddox, so Kayla stayed at our house with him. The kids had a lot of fun picking their favorite tree and watching daddy cut it down.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.......

We were able to get all of our Christmas decorations out this past weekend. The kids were so cute! They kept running around the house yelling "Mom - I'm so excited!!" We had a lot of fun!

Just For Fun

I just had to add this picture for fun. Linsey was at our house one evening, and the kids decided to play dress up. Landon was the prince and Kelsey and Linsey were the princesses. This is a good thing because Landon usually wants to be Cinderella! We keep telling ourselves that next year Kelsey will go to school and then Landon and Maddox can play boy stuff:-)

Transition to Food

We are trying to get Maddox going with baby food. Some days he likes it and some days he doesn't. I was hoping he wouldn't be picky like the other two were, but oh well!! He really likes green beans, carrots, bananas, and pears. We'll keep working on the rest!!

Watch Out Everyone......

Well, Maddox can finally crawl! It is so cute! He doesn't go very fast, but he can definitely get to where he wants to go. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

A Visit to See Paetyn

A while back we went to Lafayette to see my nephew (my brother's baby), Paetyn. He is 5 weeks younger than Maddox. It is so cute to see them interact with each other. He is so cute!!
