Yes, you heard correctly. My baby is 3 years old! I can't believe how fast time flies! What a cute, sweet little man we have, and I am so proud to be his mommy:-)

Make a wish!!Yes, it's true......Landon is no longer a preschooler and will be going to Kindergarten this fall!! Let me just say, I am so proud of this child. He has grown so much this past year and has definitely come a long way from where we started! He is so shy, and public settings seem to make him very nervous, so the beginning of the year was a struggle for both of us. BUT.....God is good and helps us through all of our struggles:-) I still look for Kindergarten to be a big adjustment for him, but I know we will get through!

Isn't he so handsome??I know - sad, right? But yes, this is how long it's been since I've updated my blog. I wasn't going to do a post from Easter, but the kids looked so cute in their outfits I just had to! 
This is what the kids got for Easter this year. They absolutely LOVE it! That is really an understatement for Landon, because he could literally drive this thing every waking minute! At least we got our money's worth!So, I absolutely hate it when I do this to myself.......it's been 3 months since my last post, we have been so busy, I have a million pictures, and I don't even know where to start with this blog! Ugh!! So, here's my plan - over the next several days, I hope to randomly do some posts of what's been happening at the Gutwein household. Not sure how many I will end up with, and there will probably be no specific order to them, but I'm sure none of you care about that anyway! Below, I've already started......Enjoy!
My Grandma and Grandpa Koebcke were gracious enough to let us borrow their camper for the weekend. We were so glad to have it - it definitely beats using our tent!

The kids really enjoyed the race, but it did get a little long for them, and they all ended up falling asleep!! Don't ask me how, because it was SO loud, but they managed! Here are Kelsey and Maddox - Landon was on Lance. This picture of me is awful, but I thought it was a cute one of the kids sleeping:-)Well, we finally broke down and decided to get a puppy. We really miss having Lucky around and decided it was time for another dog! We found an ad online for German Shepherds about an hour from here, so we went yesterday to pick out the one we want. She's still too little to leave her mom and dad, so we won't get her for another 2 weeks. We are all super excited! We are really struggling with a name for her, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
After we picked out our puppy, we went to Ft. Wayne to see some friends that I went to school with. Sadly, it had been almost 2 years since we had seen each other! It's so fun to see how all the kids have grown and watch them play together:-) We had kids of every age: 7, 5, 4, 3, and 2. SO fun!!
Landon got to go flying with Lance's dad (Papa) this past weekend, and let me tell you - he was sooooo excited! He stood outside on the sidewalk waiting for him to get here! (and it was pretty cold that day!)

Maddox had surgery in February, and is doing great!
Our cousin Sage came to visit from Nevada. The kids had a lot of fun and are now bugging us to take them to Nevada:-)
For Spring Break we spent a night in Chicago. Our first stop was the Chicago Children's Museum
We stayed at the Hilton, which was VERY nice!
We also went to the Museum of Science and Industry. This was pretty cool, but at this point we were all very tired and hungry!
Hopefully I'll do a better job about posting, but then again, I think I've said that before........
The West Central JV and Varsity cheerleaders held a cheer clinic this past weekend for the elementary girls. Of course Kelsey wanted to do it! She had a ton of fun!

Wow....it has been forever since my last post!! So much has happened since then, and I've taken hundreds of pictures! (literally) So, here are a few from the last several months. Enjoy!
Lance and I were able to go to a Bears game for his birthday. It was SO fun! Lance's parents, my parents, and I all pitched in for the tickets. Happy 30th Birthday Lance!!
Kelsey celebrated her 7th birthday December 12. Happy Birthday Kelsey! We love you SO much!
Here is the tree we chose this year. We went to cut it down again, and had a great time, as always! Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas!
As a surprise Christmas present for the kids, we went to Disney World. They were so surprised, and we all had a ton of fun!! Landon told Lance at one point, "Dad, this is the biggest Christmas ever!"
Once we left Disney World, we were able to go to Lance's mom and dad's condo in Bonita Springs. The weather was great (most of the time), and we all enjoyed our time swimming and going to the beach, and just relaxing all week!
Mom and Dad were able to join us for the last couple of days. It was great to see them! Thanks Mom and Dad for everything!
When we got home from Florida, we celebrated Christmas with my family. It was so good to be together with everyone!
I'm going to try to do better about posting this year. I think I always say that! We'll see.....
As much as I hate to say it, our dog Lucky passed away last night. SO sad! We knew it was going to happen, but it doesn't make it any easier. We had her for about 7 years and have all come to love her so much. She was a GREAT dog!
Every year around this time I like to do family pictures. This year, it crept up on me so fast! Where did the time go? I usually get some of the kids and a family picture of all 5 of us, but that didn't happen. Which isn't too big of a deal because we had one last year, and really, none of us have changed too drastically. I was also struggling with the thought of paying a lot of money. So, after thinking about it for a while, trying to decide who to have take our pictures, I thought...."You know, I think I can do this!" So, I asked Lacie to go with me to help me (and she was so kind to do so) and this is a little of what we got. I was SO pleased!!! There were so many good ones to choose from! Who needs a professional??
