He's Getting Closer.......

Maddox gets closer everyday to walking. Today, he took 15 steps!! I tried to get him on video, but as soon as he saw my camara, he wanted to hurry up and crawl to get it. So, I had to get a video from behind.

We were bored one night, so Lance had the idea of taking the kids up to the fire station. It was a good idea because the kids had so much fun! They were able to help daddy clean the fire trucks, and they got to climb on them and look around. They were pretty impressed!!

Our Recent Florida Trip

As most of you know, we were in Florida last week. We left on Friday the 30th and got home yesterday the 10th. We drove (crazy, I know) and it pretty much took us 24 hours to get there. We had a couple of incidents that set us back. Landon and Maddox both got sick twice! I'm not sure what the problem was because they never had any other symptoms, and it was just twice and they were done. It was bad, though! But, we made it! The weather was pretty chilly most of the time, but we had a few days of really warm weather. Jon and Jessica Gutwein went with us, and the kids LOVED having them there! We all had such a great time! The trip home was less eventful, and we made it back in 21 hours. I have to say, the kids were SO GOOD! There were times when I thought we were insane to have driven, but for being in the car for 24 hours, they did great!! I have A LOT of pictures to post, so I broke it up a little. I did separate posts of Maddox, Landon, and Kelsey, and then I posted some family pictures. Hope you enjoy looking at them!

Maddox in Florida

Maddox was SO GOOD on the way down!! (and the way home too!)

He slept in his pack-n-play. He did not sleep as well as he does at home, but I still cannot complain! He did great!

Landon in Florida

Lance and Jon took Landon golfing one day and did not put sunblock on him!!!! I don't know if you can see the ring around his eyes or not, but he was pretty burnt! Luckily, he did not complain of it hurting.

Kelsey in Florida
