The Newest Additions To Our Family

So, after years of begging, we finally gave in and got the kids some cats.....Alvin, Simon, and Theodore :-) Definitely OUTSIDE cats, but the kids love them! They are constantly outside playing with them. I've even caught them pushing them in the swing and sliding them down the slide! I'm not a cat person, but I'll admit, these are kind of cute.

She Finally Got It!!

Kelsey finally got her back walk-over!!! She has been practicing and practicing and practicing!! She finally got it a couple of days ago but she hasn't been consistant. Now, she can pretty much do it every time. She moved up to the next class in gymnastics and last night was her first night. She LOVED it! They do so much more in that class than what she has been doing in her other class. We were both excited to see that Courtney Gutwein (Jeremy and Becky's daughter) is in her class as well, so she has a cousin with her!! (Even though they didn't know they were cousins!) She is very excited about her back walk-overs and will probably show you the next time she sees you!!

Strong Little Man

This is Maddox's new thing. He loves to push the kids on these ride-on toys! I have to admit, I think he must be pretty strong to be able to do this! If he sees one of the kids sitting on these, he runs to them! It's very cute:-)

Kelsey's First T-Ball Game

Kelsey had her first actual t-ball game last week. Those kids are so cute! Kelsey did pretty good, and I'm already seeing an improvement in her. She really loves it!!

Good Idea or Bad Idea??

I was doing laundry one day when I hear Landon screaming at the top of his lungs, so of course I think he's like dying or something - but no - he had climbed up into his bedroom window and couldn't get down!! Good idea? I think not!!

Tractor Ride

So, this is a little old, but I haven't posted in a while! Maddox went for his first ride in the tractor a week or two ago. He loved it! He only lasted about 1 round before he was wanting to get down and mess with stuff, but he had fun! He gets really excited when we take Lance food or something and he sees the tractor, so I think he was excited to actually get to get out of the car and go in the tractor.

Having a Grand Ol' Time!

So, Maddox was taking a drink from a water bottle and spilled it down the front of him. When everyone laughed at him, he thought it was hillarious, so he kept doing it! He did this with almost a whole bottle of water!

Monkey See, Monkey Do :-)

Kelsey heard Heather and me talking about Linsey flying her kite, so she thought she needed to fly hers too. She had a lot of fun until she got it caught in a tree!! Oops!! Landon loved his too, but only for a little bit. He got bored easily, so I didn't get any pictures of him. Maddox liked watching and stood there and clapped for them! So fun!

First Time at Indiana Beach This Year!!!

Every year, Lance gets free Indiana Beach passes for being on the fire department. They are only good for the month of May, so we thought we should hurry up and get there - it's almost June! We went this past Sunday, and we all had a great time!

Landon and Maddox waiting while Kelsey and Lance went on the Dragon.
Maddox really enjoyed the cars!! He was so cute!

I'm not sure what this ride is, but he didn't like it as well!
This ride is SO annoying!! The buzzers are worse than ever this year! They liked it, though!
Landon decided he wanted to ride the Dragon, so here are Lance, Kelsey, and Landon.
So, this is probably the kids' favorite ride! While they were on it, a kid ran into the gate, and the worker had to hit the emergency stop button! Here the kids are stuck halfway up on the Frog Hopper - just sitting there! It was pretty funny!!
Still stuck.......

What a Great Sunday

We had a really busy day today, but it was a great day! Before I start, my camara died first thing, so I didn't get many pictures today! So...... We started off the day with church. After coming home for a nap, we went out to Alex's house to ride his horses. Kelsey LOVED everything about them (if you can't tell by the look on her face!). She was able to ride with daddy for a long time and later asked if she could ride by herself. She did a great job! Landon rode with daddy for a while, but he wasn't all that cracked up about it. He wanted off and didn't want to get back on. Maddox really liked them too. He had fun sitting on them and petting them. Lance and I were even able to take them for a while and Alex watched the kids for us!! Thanks, Alex, for a great time!

After riding horses, we went out to Nanny and Papa's house. Kelsey has been begging to learn to ride her bike with no training wheels, and we figured it would be easiest to take her out there to learn on their grassy hill. She rode down the hill once with no problem and wanted to try again. Again, no problem, so we took her to the driveway. She took off with no problem! I guess she was ready! She even learned to start by herself! Great job, Kelsey! We are so proud of you! Landon had us take his training wheels off, too. He is able to ride down the hill easily, but after that, he stops. He is bound and determined he will learn to ride on 2 wheels and won't let us put his training wheels back on. We'll keep trying!! Hopefully I'll get some pictures this week!

After Kelsey rode and rode and rode, we were able to go to the Whistle Stop with Nanny for dinner. Maddox has never been there and really loved the trains. We haven't been there for a while, so it was nice to go again. Thanks for going with us Nanny!!

Picnic at the Park

The kids and I were able to meet my aunt Jessica and her daughter Rhyan for a picnic dinner at the Monticello Park last week. Jessica and I were so excited to be able to visit, but with 4 kids, we quickly learned that that wasn't going to happen!! We still had a lot of fun and look forward to the next time we can get together! I didn't get very many pictures, but the kids all played really well together.

Francesville's New Park Equipment

As many of you know, Francesville FINALLY got new park equipment. The stuff that was there before was so old and run-down. I really didn't even like the kids playing on it! We were able to go to the park last week to play on it. It's pretty nice, and the kids really like it! I like it because it is definitely more little-kid-friendly than the last one. There is even stuff for Maddox to play on!

Kelsey and Landon had a lot of fun on this thing (whatever it is!).

Maddox thought he had to try it too!

Pizza, Park, and Play

Today was Kelsey's final preschool activity. All of the preschool kids met at the park for a group picture. Then, we walked over to the nursing home so the kids could sing their program songs to the residents. After that, we went back to the park for pizza and then play time. It was a lot of fun!
Here are the kids singing at the nursing home. As you can see, Kelsey (in the white shirt) is really getting into it! She loves to sing!

Kelsey's First T-Ball Practice

Kelsey had her first t-ball practice Monday evening. She had such a good time, and she actually isn't too bad! It was so cute watching all of the kids on her team! I'm so glad that she likes it!

Maddox wasn't too interested. I think I'm going to have a hard time keeping him in one spot!

A Beautiful Day at the Park

Maddox had to go get his one-year shots on Monday. I take him over to Winamac to the health department which gives me a good excuse to go see my mom at work. After Maddox got his shots, we met my mom at the park for a picnic, and then the kids were able to play for a while. It was so nice out!!
